Would anyone be interested in buying a handmade pillow sized for the cheritz pillowcases (not stuffed bc that would take a lot of space and probably money to ship) for like $35-$40 plus shipping? You can get poly fil from your local Walmart and I’d recommend 2 of the 50 oz bags (about $9-$10 per bag) to fill one of these bad boys up. It’s what I put in my original daki to supplement it when the stuffing got flat and it keeps its shape pretty well. It’s also what I stuffed this daki with. I’d only be able to take a couple of orders and only for the next few days (8/16-8/18) before school/work starts up again though so let me know if you’re interested
Cheritz I love you and I’m so glad that sewing this from scratch worked. Next time please get a pillow case that fits an existing pillow though
Update: now I’ve finished most of the stitching, all I have left is the zipper and stuffing and hoping I didn’t mess up anywhere bc I really don’t want to have to start over
Cheritz I hope you know how much I love you because I’m going to learn how to use a sewing machine so I can make a dang pillow for your absurdly sized pillowcase (I love it though because now it’ll be taller than me) since it’s easier and cheaper than trying to buy one
No matter how exhausted Ray was, he always made time for her, even if it was just for a quick turn around the garden.
(When did her life turn into a Victorian Era novel? Fuck dude. She wasn’t complaining.)
This was one of those nights, but when he’d dropped her off at her room, she’d pulled him inside when she saw how he could barely keep his eyes open.
“C’mon.” She said, gently tugging on his hand, guiding him towards her bed. “Rest a little.”
“I- I have work to-” Ray tried to give an excuse even though he was letting her tug him along. She cut him off.
“I’ll take the blame. I bullied you into it.” She said conspiratorially, smiling the whole time. Ray smiled at her nervously in return, but nodded anyway. His eyes grew wide again as he realized that she intended to be in the bed with him.
“We can’t-!” Ray started, but she nudged him slightly.
“Sit, relax, I won’t bite.” She sat with her back against the headboard, picking up the book he’d given her. “I’m just gonna read while you sleep.”
He finally nodded, and curled up underneath her blankets. She looked away from him, focusing on her book so he could sleep in peace. It took him a bit, despite how exhausted he was, but he finally drifted off to sleep.
She hadn’t even noticed until there was suddenly a hand holding onto her thigh. She glanced over at Ray to find him sprawled out from the initial tight ball he’d curled into.
“You’re so cute when you’re sleeping.” She whispered quietly, reaching over to run a hand through his hair. In his sleep, he pressed into her hand, and she couldn’t stop her smile.
She loved it, these peaceful moments where Ray could relax. She wished they could remain this way, no matter how unrealistic that was. Maybe someday.
